Since the catalog came out last summer, I was enthralled by the ribbon wreath on page 190. I wanted to make it, find out how to make it, and buy all the ribbon to make it. I kept putting it off and putting it off....looking at it every time I turned to the ribbon page. So, thanks to my secret pal, at the last crop weekend, Joanie, who bought me all the ribbon to make it. I spent the last couple days investigating how other people made it. Some used foam, some used wire...and since I didn't have anything but a wore hanger in the house, I tried it with a wire hanger, sping it into a wreath. Here is the final result. I believe I would like to make it a little smaller....so I will look in to getting a smaller wreath ring (made of wire), or try a smaller foam ring. This wreath is larger and took 15 pieces, cut into 6 inch strips, all the different ribbons...and tied onto the wire. It took me about an hour to do it all. And, I actually enjoyed the cutting and tying all the ribbon (oh yeah, that's right, I love making bows and using ribbon).
