During last weekend, I did have a weekend, all about me. It was my time away, it was my birthday, it was my passion....on and on. So I decided, before I left, I took my self-portrait and blew it up. I wanted to create a page about me...and what I have learned in my 39 years. Of course, it wasn't everything, but it was important things to me, to record. Here is the layout.
Here is what I wrote, yes, I am willing to share my thoughts. Maybe you can thin kabout things you have learned, or what you feel is important to you, right here right now!
Things I have learned so far;
It is very hard to find “true friends”.
There is never enough hours in a day to get “it” all done (whatever “it” is)
You can never take anything for granted
Live each day like it is your last
It is important to say I love you to everyone you love, but it is just as important to SHOW the people you love them as much as possible.
Try to talk it out instead of letting it fester.
It is NOT easy to forgive and forget, but it is very hard,to carry the weight of resentment around with you.
Don’t sweat the small stuff
Take pictures of the things you love, the people you love, and the places you go…for they are always changing.
Fight for your passion, you need to have it in your life.
Once in a while you need to be selfish in order to make it through the week.
S-I-M-P-L-I-F-Y
I believe God knows when we will be born and when we will die. The way we choose to live that life in between, is up to us.
DIET is not a word. It is living healthy, eating healthy, and exercising often.
It is so hard not to look in the mirror and not be critical of yourself.
